The National Human Rights Commission of India issued direction on the complaint filed by Gopi Shankar M of Srishti Madurai to ban the forced sex-selective surgeries on Intersex babies in India, Case No: 2365/22/15/2016 inquiries & direction were sent to the Secretary Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to respond within 8 weeks.
